Wood beam calculations. The optimum gap to cover using the wooden beams is 2-4 meters. The beam cutshould be rectangular in plan. Beam height should count 1,4 parts to the 1 part of the beam width. The wood beam should be nestled inside the wall at least for 12 cm and that joint should be enforced with the steel anchor The wood beam should me placed bridging the shortest gaps between the walls. The wood beam weight with the cieling insulation, floor and cieling planks is counted as 190-22 Kg/m2. The applied weight should be counted as 200 Kg/m2.
